Dr. Creed Rowan

Hello, and welcome to our office. Our goal is to help you achieve and maintain dental health. We strive to do so by providing dentistry in a comfortable environment with a caring manner. We are committed to your health and smile. We provide a comprehensive dental examination to insure that you have a thorough understanding of your dental needs. Together, we develop a plan to address your needs and return your mouth to optimum health.

Dr. Creed has been in Private Practice in Merced, California for more than 30 years. He is a 1977 graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is certified by the State of California to provide Conscious Sedation Dentistry. Dr. Creed has earned the title of Mentor with the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. He is a member of the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association. Dr. Creed has served the dental community on the Board of Trustees of the California Dental Association, and is also a Past-President of the Yosemite Dental Society.

Dr. Creed Rowan was born and raised in Merced California. He comes from a family of dentists. His father, Dr. Robert Rowan, had a family practice in Merced for nearly 50 years. Dr. Rowan has three brothers who are dentists, and a sister who married a dentist. Now, there’s a whole new generation. His daughter, Rebecca, is a dentist in Texas. His son, Chad, has an Orthodontic practice in Merced, and his youngest son, Spencer, is in dental school. As you can see, the Rowan’s have a love for and commitment to dentistry.

Dr. Creed (we often call the Rowan’s by their first name in attempt to keep them straight) and his wife, Ellen, are parents to five children and eight grandchildren (with two more on the way!) who live in various parts of the country. Dr. and Mrs. Rowan love to travel and particularly enjoy trying out the local cuisine wherever they may be.
