Spencer Rowan, DDS

Dr. Spencer Rowan has shown exemplary clinical skills, vast knowledge of current dentistry protocols, and an amazing ability to connect with our patients. He loves educating patients on ways to restore and maintain oral health. He feels a well-educated patient is a key to long-term dental health.

Having conversations with patients and helping people with anxiety feel more comfortable in the dental chair are rewarding to Dr. Rowan. He also appreciates building long-term relationships with his community and creating a positive work environment for his team.

Dr. Rowan was born and raised in Merced before leaving to obtain his education. He attended Brigham Young University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in Business Management before completing dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where he graduated near the top of his class. Following that, he furthered his education by attending a General Practice Residency program at the Hospital for Veterans Affairs in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he gained experience in many facets of dentistry, including complex restorative, oral and implant surgery, removable prosthodontics, and oral and IV moderate sedation. While at the VA, Dr. Spencer was honored to provide dental service and care to our military veterans. 

When he's away from the dental practice, Dr. Rowan loves spending time with his wife and FOUR boys! He is trying to pass on his love of the outdoors to his family. Camping trips to the coast or to the mountains are always a welcomed retreat. However, working in the garden is met with a little more resistance from his children. Occasionally, he will find time to getaway on a bike ride or a ski trip.
